Future Plan

PMAR will draw up a comprehensive trade and industry development and information disseminations plan to its members all over the State through this SCX:

  • to provide trade and business facilitation and information services to new entrepreneurs.
  • to provide international trade opportunities information to local exporters and industries.
  • to conduct regular training programs on enhancing international trade and manufacturing competitiveness, best practices and changing business scenario.
  • to conduct ont to one business meets with foreign buyers and foreign trade delegations.
  • to organize regular entreprenurship development program.
  • to organize and participate international trade fairs on Plastic Industries related subjects.

Scope and Objective

Presently PMAR is having more than 400 active members coming from all over Rajasthan, a large member of Small Scale Industries, exporters, traders, and new entrepreneurs will be benefited by the services from the proposed exchange at PMAR, which will work as linkages between the trade, small scale, large/medium scale industrial units of Rajasthan and international practices and international trade related information and best practices.

Area of Operation

PMAR is having its own office at Jaipur covering all Districts of Rajasthan, however, the proposed area of operation of the sub-contracting exchange at Jaipur will be mainly Jaipur and adjoin areas in terms of physical activities but all over Rajasthan for information and knowledge dissemination through its portal

Establishment

A bend of young enterprising industrialists conceived of converting their trading in plastics very seriously when it import took independent India by surprise. In Rajasthan, it was only in 70s' when some enterpreneurs ventured into the field of plastics. Thus was born Plastic Manufacturers' Association Rajasthan in 1983. From 1983 to 2006, PMAR has traversed along span of more than two decades in Rajasthan's plastic scenario. During this period of the association has been successful in its endeavor to be reckoned as one of the main forums of plastics in Rajasthan

History

No other industry has created such a sensational flutter in innovative product development within a short period of invention as polymers, commonly known as plastics. The actual use of polymers came in the wake of Second World War and it has made rapid strides in product development now peeking to more than 90,000 uses and applications in all conceivable fields.
